Paul’s first letter to Timothy brings together sound theology, common sense and practical Christian living. Although written two millennia ago, it remains highly relevant to today’s Church. The letter is split thematically into seven sessions. And as the study points out, ‘Its themes of sticking to the pure truth, of being alert to false teaching, of church organisation and of living lives that reflect Christ, are issues that face all thinking Christians.’
