Building God’s House tells the remarkable story of Terry Virgo – pastor, teacher, apostolic leader and founder of the worldwide Newfrontiers family of churches.

For more than six decades, Terry Virgo’s ministry has been marked by a deep love for Jesus, a revelation of the richness of God’s grace, unwavering confidence in the authority of Scripture and a passion to see the church built according to New Testament principles. Through his leadership, thousands of lives have been transformed, leaders equipped and churches strengthened across the nations.

Drawing on extensive interviews with Tery and Wendy Virgo, family members and long-time friends and coleagues, Andy Johnston ofers a warm, honest and richly detailed portrait of the man behind the movement. Alongside stories of growth, breakthrough and global influence are the personal chalenges, family trials and costly decisions that shaped Terry’s life and ministry.

For those connected to Newfrontiers, this book provides a fascinating account of the movement’s origins and development. For the wider church, it is an inspiring testimony to what God can do through a life wholly devoted to Him. Above all, it points readers not to the achievements of a man, but to the faithfulness of God and the centrality of Jesus Christ in building His Church.
