The book of Hosea is not only a sordid tale of betrayal and adultery, but it is also a love story centred on God’s passionate love for His people. In these undated devotions David Gibb explores how the prophet Hosea by publicly remaining faithful to his adulterous wife, becomes a picture of God’s love for His people who desert Him for other gods. These devotions will challenge you to consider the extent of our own sin, and how much it cost God to be faithful to the faithless, constant to the inconstant and loving to the unlovely. Read these devotions either alone, or as a group and ponder again God’s redeeming love!
