A stylish and simple selection of prayers matching the seasons, the festivals and the moods and emotions they evoke.
This beautifully illustrated collection of prayers includes words for all through the year. The prayers in this book not only match the seasons: they speak in turn of hopefulness, joy, thanksgiving, reflection, and of God's everlasting love. Themes include: Springtime (beginnings, choosing the right path, hope); Summer (praise for creation, journeys, holidays); Autumn (harvest, thanksgiving, reflection); Winter (sad times, partings, prayer); Christmas (heaven on earth); and Easter (resurrection, eternity, heaven). Elena Temporin's warm illustrations give this collection a friendly quality.
