John Hayward

Having initially trained in genetics, John subsequently pursued a career in international development, founding a successful adult learning institute in Central Asia. For several years, he led a social reform think tank that offered a faith-based perspective on the challenges facing modern society. He now works to widen participation in the national policy-making process in the UK. He occasionally serves as an international election observer and also delivers training for politicians from newly-emerging and developing democracies. John is married, has two adult children, enjoys bird-watching and is active in his local church.
