Martin Down
Martin Down has been ordained in the Church of England for 47 years. He retired from stipendiary ministry in 2005. He is married to Maureen and they have two children and five grand-children. He writes about retirement and old age, not only from his own experience, but also from a life-time of parish ministry in which he has known from a pastoral point of view generations of people facing the same challenges and opportunities.
